Organic Hemp Sheets , & Hemp Sheets Decoded: Things to Know.
You're ready to clean your home. You are sure you're looking for clean and organic. You are sure you're looking for organic and sweatshop-free. You're sure you want undyed and eco-friendly. How do you choose one of these organic options to be the best fit for your needs?
Many
reasons! There are many reasons to choose Organic Hemp Sheets. To be strong beautiful and
stunning, but they are not similar in how they feel against your skin. With their natural, high drape they don't slide across your mattress (which means that we don't
have to put in unnecessary and harmful elastics to make fitting bottoms).
1) The Look, Touch
& Feel
The Look:
The unprocessed,
natural hue of hemp fiber is light beige to gray beige. We refer to it as Desert Sand. The natural color of our organic hemp, unbleached and
un-dyed sheets is different between batches. If the harvest time is sunny, we'll get an edgier beige hue
when it's subject to rain, the hue shifts to beige grey.
The Touch
& Feel:
Hemp Sheets
and
organic linen contain hollow cores that vary in thickness across all the
fiber's long strands. These make the yarns extremely textured. It is possible to feel the expansive and fibrous texture of
the yarn which can be a sensual experience for many. Linen and hemp fabrics that are produced and processed in a
traditional manner organically, have distinctive napping patterns across. These napping patterns are highly sought-after by lovers of
hemp and linen because they are a mark of top-quality naturally processed
linens.
2) Durability
Hemp
is considered to be the most durable natural fiber in the world. However, what many do
not realize is that hemp's strength is mainly tensile, transferring the force
of linear forces. For instance, when hemp
is spun and braided to form cords or ropes, its strength is incomparable to
other natural fibers.
3) Stretchability
Since all
three are woven fabrics, they are the same in elasticity.
Our organic
fleece hemp sheets and knits made of cotton can be stretched more since
knits are more flexible than woven fabrics.
4) Absorbency
If you sweat
when you sleep, you'll be glad to be aware that hemp and organic linen
sheets are both breathable and air-tight. They're effective at transpiring water, so you don't get
soaked at the end at the night. The oldest
known fiber of mankind hemp is the most intelligent fiber. Hemp doesn't require nanofibers or microchips to keep you
comfy and dry all night.
5) Breathability
& Insulation
Due to the
hollow centers of bast fibers, hemp-based fabrics and linen are extremely
insulating. It's a tangled web that's
difficult to grasp. Linen and hemp clothing
will keep your body cool and dry during the summer heat by wicking away water,
and their hollow cores can shield your body from frigid temperatures by
capturing your body heat to keep you warm. Amazing, eh?
6)
Wrinkle-Resistance
This one is
probably familiar to you. Hemp and linen
can get wrinkled, and then relax by absorbing the moisture of the surrounding. Natural cotton won't wrinkle as quickly and bounces back
with speed also.
We
are at Hemp Sheet Studios, we have been
weaving, growing, and producing organic cotton, linen, and hemp bedding. We can feel, touch, and
sleep on these materials every day and can recognize the fabrics even with our
eyes closed. We recommend you sleep on it. Literally. Get a Hemp Pillowcases in each fabric and sleep on it.
